If you just can't seem to fit more time into your day, you need a concierge. It's as simple as that. Do you catch
yourself saying, "I really do not like doing this, I wish I had someone else to do it." If you would like to spend
more time with the family and loved ones and can't or if things around your work or home never seem to get
completed, you might want to consider the help of a concierge service.
How would I get started with Elite Notions?
You may reach us via email anytime or by phone during office hours listed to the left here. We will have a phone
consultation that will allow you to express your needs and concerns. We will establish a Concierge Account for
you so that you may start to utilize our services right away. We will ask you a few questions in addition to setting
up billing arrangements.
Do I have to become a member or sign a contract?
There is no membership with Elite Notions. Contracts are used as a standard form of business. Although
membership is not applicable, you are still required to setup a Concierge Account so that we may better serve
you.
How do you price your services?
You may choose to use us once or you may purchase Membership Hourly Packages and Day Rates which will
be more cost effective. You can decide which package best suits your lifestyle. A la carte is based on an hourly
rate and can range from $50-$75 per hour depending on the nature of the request. Some requests such as,
event planning, will require a custom quote to fulfill the specific needs of the client and will require a deposit.
You seem to offer a plethora of services. How do you manage?
Although many services are provided by Elite Notions, many are outsourced such as event planners, personal
chefs, bookkeeping, photographers and so forth. You will enjoy the relief of not having to prescreen these
providers due to our prior experience and involvement with them. Remember, a concierge will find the answer
and fill the need for you.
Does Elite Notions provide after hours, weekends, holiday and emergency service?
Elite Notions does offer this feature for an additional fee. Our normal business hours are from Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm. If you need our assistance during after hours we will make every effort to fulfill your emergency.
Do you offer same day requests?
While in a perfect world we would love to say "yes!" As reality would have it, we will make every effort to meet your
needs if you call last minute. We wouldn't want this to be a normal practice. We cannot guarantee "same day
requests". Please make every effort to give us a 48 hour notice so that we may be better prepared to serve you.
How much notice is required for requests?
This will depend on your request. If you have an event to plan such as dinner party, wine tasting...we need at
least a 2 week notice. Larger events such as weddings, corporate events, etc., we need as much time as you
can give. For all other requests, we would appreciate a 48 hour notice.
I need you to run some errands that will require you to purchase or make payments. How does this work?
Do you invoice me for all expenses?
If your requests requires Elite Notions to make payments or purchases on your behalf, you must prepay all
expenses such as this. A separate invoice will be sent after the requests have been completed which will
include your itemized purchases. If you have purchased a Membership Hourly Package, we will deduct the hours
used for your request.
How do I make purchases?
You may purchase Gift Certificates and Membership Hourly Packages without our help. With your credit card, you
can use the Elite Notions website for this. We have a convenient payment system through PayPal. You do not
have to have a PayPal account. It is as simple as placing any order online. Safe and secure.
If you would prefer, we can also assist you over the phone.
How do I send purchase and payment funds in advance?
When we set up your initial Concierge Account, we will ask for payment information such as credit card
information to keep on file for your convenience. If your requests requires Elite Notions to make purchases or
payments up front, we will transfer funds into the Elite Notions bank account for you. This keeps you from having
to make the transfer yourself. Elite Notions will not transfer any funds unless we have your authorization to do so.
For those clients with infrequent purchases and those who are not comfortable sharing their credit card
information, a concierge specialist will make arrangements with you prior to your requests that require
purchasing funds.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Elite Notions accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, money orders, cashiers check,
personal & corporate checks and cash.
Will you require a deposit to start a Concierge Account?
Elite Notions does not require a deposit unless you hire us for an event. We do not charge your credit card
without your permission. If we are planning an event for you, deposits will be explained as we customize your
requests. There are no application fees.
When is payment due?
Concierge service requests must be paid in full prior to service date by credit card or check with the exception of
mileage which will be calculated and invoiced. Payment is also acceptable on service date if paid in cash prior
to starting requests. If additional hours are used, our accountant will send you an updated invoice and will make
payment using your credit card information on file for you. Again, if you are not comfortable having your CC# on
file, you may go online and make the payment yourself, however, it must be paid upon receipt.
I purchased a Membership Hourly Package of 10 hours. I have 7 hours left, can I use the rest for you to
grocery shop and we are settled up?
Unfortunately the Membership Hourly Packages do not allow you to use hours and purchases interchangeably.
The packages are strictly for you to utilize our concierge services to tackle your tasks on our time. Any purchases
for groceries, mailings, dry cleaning, etc., has to be paid in advance and in addition to your package costs.
I don't see my request on your list. Do you offer any services outside of what you have listed on the site?
Believe it or not, we almost never have 2 clients alike. We make every effort to accommodate the specific needs
of our clients. Our clients are like snowflakes, each one unique. There is no cookie cutter service offered at Elite
Notions. If you do not see something here, we encourage you to ask. If we do not offer the service, we may know
which direction to send you.
All requests must be legal, ethical and in good standards.
Do you just service the Wilmington, NC area?
Although Elite Notions predominantly services the Wilmington area, we service Emerald Isle, Morehead City,
Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Swansboro, Jacksonville, New Bern, Greenville, Kinston, Goldsboro, Raleigh, Leland,
Myrtle Beach and anywhere in between.
Elite Notions services the 28405 zip code within a 20 mile radius. Travel outside of this radius will incur an
additional fee. Fee will vary upon distance traveled.
I did not use all of my Membership Hourly Package. Can I carry them over each month?
If you do not use all of your packaged hours, you may carry them over for one additional month only.
Are expenses included in your service fee?
All expenses are to be paid up front. A separate invoice will be sent via email or snail mail for concierge services
provided.
Will I receive an itemized invoice?
You will receive and itemized invoice for all concierge services and copies of receipts of any additional
purchases made by Elite Notions.
I am concerned about my privacy.
We understand your concern for your privacy and your residence. Elite Notions takes this very serious and
assures you that at no time will our Concierge Specialists divulge any information concerning our clients and
their personal information.
