Home Security Visit (Checklist)
Home service arrangements - Having an investment property can sometimes be difficult when you live out of
town and you need a particular service provided at your home. The stress of having to locate quality service is
not always easy. Elite Notions can arrange to have a reputable service provider at your request. We only use
service providers that are licensed, bonded and insured to guarantee client satisfaction.

Preparing your home for arrival and departure - It's nice to know all you have to do is arrive at your vacation
home and it will be like you never left. Groceries will be stocked, stuffiness gone, fresh flowers and light
housecleaning already taken care of. When you leave...leave everything. We can arrange for housekeeping
services.
Get well soon concierge - If you're planning surgery soon or you've just had surgery,
you most likely are going to need some assistance taking care of personal tasks
such as grocery shopping and errand runs. Maybe you have a pet that needs to
run and play each day. Let us help you with all the housework and meal planning
so you can recover much quicker.
Cooking Classes & Wine Tastings - We've created a great way for you to entertain
friends at home by providing cooking demonstrations for entertainment and for
those who aren't so kitchen savvy.
Wine tastings are becoming more and more popular with wine shops popping
up all over the place. We'll bring the wine and cheese, you invite the friends, and

- Check outside light fixtures for bulb outages
- Visual of pool working properly. Overall pool clarity, cleanliness and water level.
- Check exterior for signs of vandalism
- Check for signs of mold or weather damage
- Check interior bulb outages
- Check thermostat and humidistat for proper setting and functionality.
- Visual for leaks in all ceilings. This includes walking into each room of your home and visually
checking all walls and ceilings for leaks or cracks. - Visual for all pipe leaks (sinks, toilets, washer, refrigerators, water heater)
- Run all faucets, flush toilets and run washing machine
- Check garbage disposal
- Check all major appliances
- Outside water spigots in the off position
- Check electrical box for tripped breakers
- Refrigerator/Freezer working properly
- Check dial tones
- Check for unusual odors
- Visual for pest/rodent infestations (this is a visual check. Termite inspection should be performed by
proper pest control service) - Check and secure all windows/doors/garage entries
- Observance of nearby surroundings
- Water Plants
- Rotate lights within home for the appearance that someone is present
- Start Vehicles
- Place garbage cans curbside for garbage pickup service
